Use FileTax in ChatGPT or Claude

ChatGPT

  1. Open Plugins in the left menu, then choose Add → Add custom MCP server.
  2. Name it “FileTax”, paste the MCP server URL, keep OAuth, tick “I understand”, and select Create as a plugin.
  3. Select Connect FileTax, then sign in or create your FileTax account.
  4. In a new chat, pick FileTax from the + menu and ask: “Estimate my federal refund.”

Claude

  1. Open Settings → Connectors and choose Add custom connector.
  2. Name it “FileTax”, paste the MCP server URL, and select Add.
  3. In a new chat, turn on FileTax in the tools menu and ask: “Estimate my federal refund.”
